Saginaw YMCA Renovations

Saginaw, MI

R.C. Hendrick & Son, Inc. was hired by the Saginaw YMCA to serve as the Construction Manager / Constructor for their $4.5 Million Renovation Project.

Project Highlights:

• Demolition of the original six-story housing unit while the remainder of the building stayed in operation.

• Added areas for youth enrichment activities, a conference center, child-watch area, café, and workout area.

• Increased community involvement by renovating the existing building instead of relocating the facility to the suburbs.

• The renovation of the Saginaw YMCA transformed and revitalized a 1950’s era building into a modern family-oriented workout facility.

East Tawas Community Center

East Tawas, MI

R.C. Hendrick & Son, Inc. was selected as the Construction Manager for the $2.5 Million new Community Center for the City of East Tawas.

The community center consisted of a gymnasium with parquet floor, elevated running track, full-service kitchen, and new offices for the City of East Tawas.  The gymnasium portion of the project is a CECO Metal Building with masonry veneer and standing seam metal roof.

Buena Vista Community Center

Buena Vista Twp., MI

R.C. Hendrick & Son, Inc. was the Construction Manager for the $2.5 Million new Community Center and Public Safety Building for Buena Vista Township.

The project included a gymnasium, multi-purpose room, swimming pool, full-service kitchen and office space.  The building also houses Buena Vista’s Fire Department and Police Department within the building.
